Kenya Schools
Kenya Schools return after a period of more than a month on prolonged strike over teachers’ pay. Only the exam classes in their final year in both primary and secondary schools have been taught. As a result the libraries have been very busy with students studying, reading and teaching each other.

Trustees Dan and Carly who organised the evening
Many thanks to all of those who organized the very successful Kenya East event at Downstairs at Mother, and many thanks to Mother for their generous hospitality.
Band and DJ
It was fantastic to have the opportunity to hear from people who had been directly involved in making the film.
The film
And very saddening to hear the very next morning of the death of Charles Owoko of the Owiny Sigoma Band, the subject of the film.
Those who signed up on the night have been added to the newsletter circulation – many thanks for your interest in the Akili Trust.
Best wishes to all our supporters The Akili Team
