Coronavirus update from the Bursary Students

We were sent some videos of the Akili bursary students who have not be able to go to school or the Akili libraries due to the lockdown in Kenya because of coronavirus.

They cite a number of reasons which inhibit them from being able to study properly; lack of online resources; noise pollution at home; not enough space – the list goes on. While it’s sad to see how some of them are struggling, it’s amazing to see how resilient they are.

We were able to send study guides and books to those who need to study for their exams, so hopefully their ability to work on upcoming tests is now greater.
