As the current chair of the Akili Trust, I am delighted to introduce our new film about our work in Kenya. It gives you the chance to see where we work and meet the people.
I want to thank everyone who has helped with the film, particularly our partners in Media Trust for the support that they have given to this project.
Please think about how you can support our work. Have a look at the ‘how you can help’ section of the website. We are really keen to encourage regular standing orders, no matter how small. Remember that a donation of £12 per month will pay for the newspapers for one library for a year, £20 per month will pay most of the fees for a secondary school bursary for a year, and even the smallest regular donation helps us to buy books in Kenya.
